• If you are using LTK version 6.0 or later, you can access all of these functions by
    running the LTK Sound Test program.

  • First run the LTK Sound Test program to be sure your Play volume level is set correctly.

  • Then set up Windows volume levels to record.

  • Double-click the volume control button, located in the lower right corner of your Windows
    screen.

  • Select Options/Properties/Recording and set the Microphone volume level to its
    maximum setting, as shown below.
Then run the Windows Sound Recorder (sndrec32.exe - Windows XP and earlier) program to record and
play back using the microphone.
Select the red button to begin recording and select the button with the black rectangle to stop.

Once you have this working properly, your LTK recording function will work properly. Please remember
that
to record using LTK you Hold the left mouse button down on the LTK Record button until you are
finished recording.
