LTK For Schools System Requirements
Single Station Version

  • Pentium® class PC recommended with 32MB-512MB of RAM.
  • CD-ROM drive attached to the PC.
  • Local hard drive attached to the PC with 41MB of available space.
  • Windows® 98/ME, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows Vista® 32-bit systems.
  • Color SVGA monitor (800 X 600 or better)
  • Sound card
  • Headphones and microphone (connected to the sound card). Powered speakers and a microphone will be
    suitable when there are no outside noises to distract the student.
  • Keyboard.


Enterprise Network Version

  • System requirements are the same as the above versions, and
  • Student PCs do NOT require an attached CD-ROM drive
  • Pentium® class PC recommended with a minimum of 256-512MB of RAM.
  • Server PC should be a Pentium® class PC with a minimum of 256-2048MB of RAM.
  • Server PC should have available hard drive space of 430MB plus 1MB per student.
  • Server PC can use any of the above software versions or Windows Server NT 4.0/2000/2003.
  • Operates on any network that supports Windows.

The LTK For Schools Network Version and the LTK For Schools Enterprise Network Version operate on any
network that supports Windows.

LTK For Schools also operates on Apple® systems using Virtual PC® Version 4 or later or Dual-Boot. Windows
must also be installed..
