Setting up your Recording Levels on Vista®/Windows 7/8/10® Systems
Run the LTK® Sound Test program to be sure your computer is properly set up.
Click on the buttons below to play the various Wave (sound) combinations.
Click here for Windows 98SE/Me/2000/XPsystems.
Then click on the button named Check My Sound Card. A screen similar to the one shown below will appear.
To set your Microphone volume level, click on the tab named Recording. A screen similar to the following will appear.
Note the green check mark, which indicates that a microphone is plugged into the computer.
Also note that this computer has two microphone jacks. Only one may be used at a time. The jacks are located at the back and front or top front of the computer.
To set your Microphone volume level, click on the tab named Recording. A screen similar to the following will appear.
When you double-click one of the Microphone/Line In icons, a screen similar to the following will appear.
The tab named Levels can be used to set your Microphone volume level (we recommend setting it at the maximum level).
